Interview mit Dr. Oliver Sukrow.Oliver Sukrow studied Art History in Greifswald, Salzburg, and Colchester from 2005 to 2010. From 2012 to 2016, he studied Art History at the University of Heidelberg, earning his PhD with the support of a Baden-Württemberg Grant for a fellowship at the Zentralinstitut für Kunstgeschichte in Munich from 2014 to 2016. Since 2016, he has been working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Art History at the Technical University of Vienna. His main research areas are the history of architecture, visual art, and landscape in the GDR. His PhD-dissertation “Arbeit. Wohnen. Computer. Zur Utopie in der bildenden Kunst und Architektur der DDR in den 1960er Jahren“ was published by Heidelberg University Press in November 2018. Oliver Sukrow is also interested in the possible contributions of the humanities for current and future challenges.
