Season 2 episode 7 of Volunteer Stories features Sam Henkels – a young man who volunteered with Peace Corps in the south of China for 2 years. Peace Corps is a volunteer program run by the United States Government providing international social and economic development assistance. As part of his placement Sam taught English at a university in a small city called Duyun in Guizhou province. In his free time Sam also volunteered for a local fire department helping disseminate fire safety information.

Episode 7 also features music by Esta and Secret Mission.
