Sutra 3.44 is in many ways an extension of the previous sutra, where we learned to lessen the divisionbetween body and spirit in hopes of a more natural existence.  Now, in Sutra 3.44 Patanjali states that we cannot only break down the barriers between body and spirit, between heart and mind, but that we can also learn to soften the borders between our own self and others. this particular sutra has been discussed in a few different ways and we will look at it again from a few different angles too.
