10.01.2025 Welcome to the first show of the new year! Last week I felt quite under the weather, got one of these bugs swirling around and truly was out for the count.. My apologies, I presented you with another RErun, but it gave me a chance to rest, recover, and reflect (though you might still hear a hint of recovery in my voice). But here we are, as always, raisingvibrations and healingtogether. It’s moments like these that remind me of the incredible self-healing powers of yoga—not just for the body, but for the mind and spirit. The new year brings an invitation to explore deeper truths, not just in the world outside us, but within ourselves. And This brings us to Sutra 4.23:
“The consciousness of the mind only appears to be all-pervading.” This profound teaching asks us to reflect on the distinction between mind and soul, and the journey of clearing the way for the soul to shine through. Patanjali and Yoga Sutra 4.23 are reminding us that the mind, when purified, becomes a temple where the Seer—the soul—can emerge as a divine witness. It’s a journey of stepping aside, clearing ego and attachments, and allowing the universe to flow through us as vessels of its work. So, how do we start the year with clarity and intention?
