Unruly Thoughts: Comfort Arthur & Donna Hope
Unruly Thoughts – on feminisms and beyond, the first edition of Austria’s feminist festival aimed to bring together feminist perspectives apart from Eurocentric thought patterns. Over the course of three days, the online-only event hosted feminist voices from Africa and the African diaspora in the various fields of culture, academia and art.
An animator and illustrator Comfort Arthur and a socio-cultural analyst and a professor Donna P. Hope were among many remarkable keynote speakers. In the current radio show we will hear interviews with them. Animator Arthur presented her works and elaborated on importance of storytelling. And with professor Hope we talked about gender and ageism in the dancehall.
