Für Serge Attukwei Clottey leistet Kunst einen wichtigen Beitrag zur gesellschaftlichen Entwicklung. Der ghanaische Künstler arbeitet von September bis Dezember 2013 als Artist in Residence der Kunsthalle Exnergasse im WUK. Am Samstag, den 23. November kann man sein Atelier dort im Zuge einer Studiopräsentation besuchen.

His work is multilayered, funny and creative. The main topics are environment, culture and politics. The artist Serge Attukwei Clottey is convinced that art plays an important role in the development of societies. From September to December 2013, he works as an „Artist in Residence“ in the WUK. On Saturday, November 23, during the Vienna Art Week, there is an open studio session at 4 pm. On this occasion, you can visit the artist and take a look at his paintings and mixed media installations. In our WUK radio show Serge Attukwei Clottey talks about his work.
