That Evening Football Show – Episode 31

After a long summer break, we are back on air for our 31st episode! A lot has happened since our last show, so naturally there was a lot to talk about for the new Premier League season.

One noticeable and proud moment we had to share was our very own Ben starred for Sky Sports discussing the current situation at Chelsea. We dug deeper during the show which led to the prediction that they will not finish above 10th come end of the season.

The now-resolved uncertainty once surrounded Mo Salah during the summer transfer window, and Liverpool’s almost completely new midfield seemed to please Dave.

However, the circus-like uncertainty surrounding some Manchester United players triggered a mini rant from Ricky.

We quickly touched on both Everton and Arsenal, but the outcome of that discussion was both teams would have a below-par campaign.

This year’S FPL does seem a little bit tricky and each of us has already activated Wildcard with only 6 games played. A bit early? But then, if we do not use our Wildcard, when should we…?
