Now that the Premier League 2023/24 season is officially over, we initially planned to kick off the show with a season overview, but got distracted with the upcoming Champions League Final. Is it getting a little bit too boring seeing the same team, namely Real Madrid, winning it again, or spice it up and root for the underdog: BVB Dortmund. We took a deep dive into that before each of us had a say in how our own team performed in the Premier League.

Most of the time at the end of each season, we see a lot of managers leaving and it is no different this time. Arne Slot coming in for Jürgen Klopp at Liverpool, Chelsea and Bayern Munich expect Enzo Maresca and Vincent Kompany to be their manager, respectively. We discussed what these managers will bring in the coming seasons (if they last more than one!) to these clubs.

It is unusual for Ricky to lose track of time, but things do happen which unfortunately led to a rather abrupt end of this show. He got carried away in blaming Gareth Southgate for picking a relatively weak midfield in England’s provisional squad for the Euros 2024 in Germany!
