LIVE ACT I
the audio presented represents a second performance in the course of the project between berlin and amsterdam — two radio studios (berlin and amsterdam) are connected by telephon. so far so normal — only, the telephone is connected to the mixing board „incorrectly“ . the result: both radio stations are joined together in one feed back system — everybody knows the sound of feed back: a sharp whistle an unbearable drone. the whole radio as a hardware is included in this — the two artist (jan zimmermann in berlin and michael fischer in amsterdam) are modulating, taming, so to speak and domesticating this drone-sound into melodic and rhythmic interactions from both ends. — the radio stations on the whole have become an instrument, played by two players, influencing each other permanently; additionally any hardware of the studios might become an instrument as well
