d_sign week

d*sign week is a gathering dedicated to experimental and independent design practices, initiated by the local cultural platforms Potato Publishing and servus.at, in Linz. The program includes topics like explorative printing, zine making and independent design tools, as well as hybrid forms of publishing on the web, open licenses, copyleft and collective forms of authorship. Realized in collaboration with Kunstuniversität Linz, Timebased Media & Visual Communication, Radio FRO and Kulturverein zur Schießhalle.

The radio conversations of the d*sign week, propose a dialogue between the program’s contributors and special guests, to document, share and discuss critical perspectives on design. At the same time it gives visibility to independent and experimental projects and initiatives. In the format of 1 hour interviews, this sessions were recorded at the Radio Fro studio, and broadcasted from November 21st to 25th, 2023.
