The Good News 32 – How intelligent are you versus How are you intelligent?
For this episode of The Good News I talked to educator and researcher Niranjan Khatri in Kathmandu, Nepal about the challenges of the education system on a local and global level and how children´s literature and a learner centered focus can make a great difference.
Niranjan founded Kakshyalaya, an NGO based in the Kathmandu Valley, Nepal, to devise and implement experience-based learning using children’s literature to help students and teachers in rural Nepal engage in authentic and meaningful learning experiences. The organization also collaborates with skilled editors and local illustrators to create attractive and enjoyable books to provide educational resources for teachers and students.
