That Evening Football Show – Episode 45

REUNION!
The last time the three of us were together was three years ago! It would not have been a perfect weekend if we did not record an episode. This was indeed our top priority, and we made it happen. Location was a big discussion point. We thought of either doing it in the amazing Classic Football Shirt store (no, we did not get any freebies, and we paid for our own drinks…), in a pub, or on a cozy sofa in Ben’s mum’s flat. In the end, we settled on a lovely pub situated on a wobbly deck along Regent’s Canal, which marked our first ever open-air episode!
Dave had an amazing time celebrating at the Newcastle end at Wembley, when they beat Liverpool in the Carabao Cup Final not long ago. He was more than happy to tell us what a wonderful day out he had, and his assessment on the match.
Our reunion coincided with the international break, so of course we shared our thoughts on Thomas Tuchel’s first game in charge of England, before ending the show with the usual PFL segment.
This particular episode may not be packed with tonnes of content, but time absolutely flew, none of us wanted it to end. Nothing beats spending time with your best mates chatting about thing(s) we all love, except time itself…Let’s hope it will not be another three years before we can do another show together as a trio.
