That Evening Football Show – Episode 42
After two weeks of international break, we were back in the studio ready to talk Premier League, and it was wonderful to have Jonny back on with us.
The reason we asked him back for this particular episode was to ask him what he thought of Man City’s current poor form – Pep’s first 5 back-to-back losses in his managerial career. As predicted, of course it’s all because of the absence of 2024 Ballon d’Or winner, Rodri….From that, we discussed a bit about that Real Madrid Vinicius Jr. ceremony saga.
We then moved onto Mo Salah’s comment regarding his contract issue after the Southampton game, which Arne Slot contradicted in his pre-match conference against Real Madrid in the Champions League. So who is right, who is wrong? Dave provided some expert insight into his club, and Ben with some „breaking news“….
The last segment before FPL was no doubt the start of Ruben Amorim’s reign at Old Trafford. Is he the right man to take Man United forward? What about his formation and playing style? Ricky was more than happy to deliver his controversial verdict, as Ben put it.
Hosted by Ricky Wong, Ben Grounds and Dave Naylor
