That Evening Football Show – Episode 41
Is one’s nationality more important than the ability to perform when it comes to the England manager role? This is how we started our episode following the appointment of Thomas Tuchel. Is he the right man to finally bring football home? Has the English FA done the right thing to hire him over all other English managers?
There have been quite a few questionable refereeing decisions already in this Premier League campaign so far, and in particular the week just gone, with William Saliba getting sent off, whereas Tosin Adarabioyo (not Levi Colwill as said in the show) got away with a similar offence. Are we overanalysing the game as spectators?
We planned to spend more time on FPL but somehow we used up some of those minutes on Liverpool’s title challenge. Stick to the script they say…That being said, it was another enjoyable evening talking about football!
Hosted by Ricky Wong, Ben Grounds and Dave Naylor
