TALK2MUCH / WHYNACHTEN ? WITH PHIL LYNESS / 26.12.2022

We saw an event advertising poster for a New Years Eve-Party (aka in German: Silvester-Party), where they misspelled Silvester like „Sylvester-Gala“… And we were discussing, if we would go to an event whose promoters cannot even spell the name of the party right…
As the German word for Christmas is Weihnachten, and the „Weih“-part is spelled like the English word „why“, we found it very funny to call our Christmas show „Whynachten?“, as reminiscence to the guys and girls of the „Sylvester-Gala“ 
If you wonder now, why all this is written in English, well, thats because we’re proudly announcing our live guest for this one, and he’s speaking some kind of English.
He goes by the name Ebenezer Lyness and is the radiomaker formerly known as Phillip Lyness (or in Prince-like short: TRFKAPL) (okay, TAFKAP sounded better, we got it!).
Originally we planned on only playing „Why?“-songs and talking about why Christmas, but musicwise it probably can be, that Ebenezer has got some of his favorite seasonal tunes with him, and we’re gonna play them too.
At the moment I memorize one „Why?“-song only, so it’s gonna be good, if we don’t stick to that rule anyways.
Ebenezer has a special obsession on Christmas, and this obsession isn’t anti as it is with his old pal Scrooge, it’s rather pro, ho, ho,ho!
So we’ll talk about more „why’s“, as in „Why so obsessed?“
