PUNK SCENE U.S.A. – 1973 – 1979

Nachdem Punk in New York Mitte der Siebziger intensiv aber nur kurz aufgeflackert war, ging das massenmediale Interesse an dem, vor kurzem noch so frischen, Musikstil rasch zurück. Trotzdem entwickelten allerorts D:I.Y. Punkszenen, die ihre Tonträger über Kleinstlabels promoteten und die Fahne des Punk, dessen Ursprünge im Detroit und New York der 60er Jahre zu finden sind, weiterhin hochhielten.
