This 59-track, six hour box set was curated by the brothers Aaron and Bryce Dessner of The National and is a real gem.
The 3 disc LP was several years in the making. The crème de la crème from the pop-indie scene covers practically all the Dead hits.
The Day of the Dead was produced as a fund raiser for the Red Hot an international charity dedicated to raising funds and awareness for HIV and AIDS.
For this show I put together a playlist of 10 songs from this epic compilation. All together making up over 55 minutes of uninterrupted music.
