4. Moon and Sharks

I know, the title doesn’t say much, unless you’re drifting or swimming or even in a flimsy boat, sharks could be everywhere and there’s a full moon right above you. This light helps you see things, alright, but it also helps you see things that aren’t necessarily there, what with the waves and everything.

If you already feel like you’re in a video game, that’s because most of these tracks are inspired (if not „taken“) from them „new-school“ games. It’s the thoughtful, sensitive, respectful ones, the ones that make me try and be a better person, for the sake of it itself, and re-think things, it’s these immersion-type games that deliver the songs in this edition.

Besides floating, there’s also a sense of flying in there somewhere, of landing, at least. The title, however, comes from two of the songs in the list. The Bat for Lashes‘ „Moon and Moon“ track is from „Captain Spirit“ (the game), while „Sharks“ comes from „our own“ Velojet.
