Diese Woche im Kopfkino gibt es ein Stück Klangkunst der italienischen Komponistin, Musikerin und Klangkünstlerin La Claud. Ich hatte es online gehört und war sehr fasziniert und freue mich, dass La Claud eine Radiofassung ihres Opus für „Kopfkino“ erstellt hat:

M.I.R.T.O. is a project born during the anticipation of the birth of a child, an expectation shared with a group of people dedicated to the construction, starting from the single components, of shamanic drums belonging to the popular musical tradition of southern Italy.

This composition collects and photographs the vibrations of voices, drums and soundscapes captured during the workshop, which took place in a place surrounded by nature. The luthier calls this collective experience „THE SOUND OF THE SOUL: The Circle of the Drum“.

ABOUT LA CLAUD

She has a degree in Computer Science and is majoring at the Naples Conservatory of Music in Electronic Music. In 2021, The electroacoustic opera „Ferrite II Interstitial“ is among the „Selected Projects“ at In-Sonora festival Madrid. In 2020, she won the award „Matters. Platform for Industrial Culture“ with the work PHYSIS.

Over the years, La Claud has conducted research and experiments that combine visual and sound arts and at the same time has carried out some acoustic-electronic music projects.

She has published several releases whose tracks range from creative techno to downtempo, from chill-hop to electronics, with international electronic music labels.
