All doctors agree: All adults should have their cholesterol levels checked every five years. Patients at risk should be treated with a statin.
However, two guidelines were updated in 2013 and they sparked controversy.
Persons who have high cholesterol or cardiovascular risk factors should listen to the broadcast.
