This is Lilly Vanilli of the cultural department and I proudly present the IndieRE featured song segment.

For the next two years Radio Helsinki will take part in an international project called IndieRE – independent radio exchange, in which 8 European community radios will expand your musical horizons with a total of 88 broadcasts, presenting the current musical highlights of their respective intependent scene. And every week a special song will get special attention in the featured song-segment.

Keep your ears up as our musical exchange around Europe will start in February , and until then we will listen to some of my personal featured songs.

The editor’s choice for this week went to a band from Vienna + Berlin, who released their debut via vienna based label Urban Lurk just a few days ago. Because they stay in true punk spirit we can listen to two short songs of their demo release!
