Girl Model is the story of model-scout Ashley Arbaugh and one of the models she scouts, 13-year old russian girl Nadya who is sent to Japan for what appear to be her first modeling jobs. Sabin & Redmon explore the multi-layered universe of the modeling industry by focusing on these two stories, giving us tons of aspects to think about, enough space to draw our own conclusions and characters as fascinating as ungraspable.
