16. Intermezzo Notturno Impromptu

14.11.2020

This combination of classical music and bits of soundtracks is actually composing my daily life, luckily, it actually came into being by listening to my best friend and to my best boss. There’s more to listening than one would think, I tell you and I’m not the only one. If you listen to the stone, even to the leaves that fall last on the ground, only because this one useless light was shining on them until Christmas, you’ll at least see things in a different „light“. From the leaf’s point of view, anything as mathematical and as poetical as Debussy or Desplat finally makes sense, in a geometrical dance kind of way.

The same crazy and heavenly leaf dance that haunts out of Desplat’s „River Waltz“ renders thoughts of a deeper nature through Boccherini’s „Musica Notturna“, it’s just the way it goes, I guess. Imagine, if you will, a modern library, glass walls sorrounding you, but it’s night outside anyway and Mozart’s Violin Concerto Nr. 3 is barely hearable from somewhere in the accountants‘ department, where everybody had left hours ago. Yeah it’s creepy but it’s also invigorating that only you’re living this story right now, that only you’re feeling goose bumps by hearing Offenbach; and when you realize that hundreds of years of fans have passed by, all the better.
