3. Creaks and Moans and Pictures of You

To be perfectly honest, the working „title“ of this show had been „Dancing librarian in the 80’s“ and the image I had in mind was actually a scene from Twin Peaks. The one where the two Horne brothers are watching the girl dancing in her socks with a flashlight pointing wherever her hands are swinging. So, this is what this show tastes like to me.

The title is refering to just two of the songs in the list, although the rest are pretty much in their spectrum, this is a quiet one. As I was mentioning the librarian in the 80’s, Tears for Fears is a must and so is the wonderfully eccentric Kate Bush. The „Twin Peaks“ fans will recognize Angelo Badalamenti and eerie Jullee Cruise; for „13 reasons why“ aficionados, I couldn’t resist not to play Lord Huron.
