Browsing around the clove: Episode VI “Star Anise”

Known by its unmistakable aroma and its unique shape, the sixth episode of “Browsing around the clove” is baptized as star anise.

This blood compact had two principles. The Islanders will be converted to Catholicism and subjugated into the Hispanic Monarchy. Magellan, on the other hand, will have to convince the local leaders to tribute the king. Lapu-Lapu, the chief of the small island of Mactan will refuse to do so.
