What does it feel like to live your everyday life in times of war? What is the situation in Ukraine currently like? And how do you report about it? These are the questions that Isabel Colleran and Annalena Walz discuss with Ukrainian journalist Alyona Martyniuk.
Alyona is a journalist, writer and translator based in Lwiw. Currently, she is working for the magazine „Xapaktep“, writing stories about soldiers and veterans. Alyona Martyniuk was awarded the Megalizzi-Niedzielski price for aspiring journalists by the European Commission in 2022.
The interview was recorded during the EU regions week in Brussels in October 2024.
