Jerzy Osuchowski
Born in 1911 in Krakow, Jerzy Osuchowski was arrested as a political opponent shortly after the German invasion of Poland. He was transferred through various prisons, transit camps, and concentration camps, eventually arriving at the Gusen I camp in 1940. After returning to Poland, he wrote books to ensure that the inhumanities of Gusen I would not be forgotten.
